Be open to growth.

Don’t ever apologize for who you are

Don’t be afraid, He’s got you.

It’s okay to be vulnerable.

Allow Him to chip away the things that are not of Him.

He hasn’t finished sculpting you.

Allow it, it might be painful at times but each time He chips away you become more like Him.

HIs work is not done.

He’s not finished with you.

At debrief my team leaders cami and kori told each of us to pick a piece of paper out of a bowl. “Don’t look at it, its a name of one of your squad mates, now take some time to pray, and ask the Lord, what does this person need to hear right now.”  “Right it down and when you are finished you can open the piece of paper and give it to who it belongs to.”

As I prayed and began to write what the Lord laid on my heart I quickly realized that me and the person on this piece of paper have a lot in common.

After I finished I opened up the piece of paper and written on it was the word

 “ you”

The Lord knew.

I needed to be encouraged, I needed to hear that I don’t ever have to apologize for who I am because He created me.
