At training camp we were asked the question “ what are my hopes for this journey?”

This question got me to think about all the areas in my life that I want to grow in. So  I would like to take this blog to express my hopes for this journey so that 1. All of you reading this can keep me accountable and 2. I can look back on this as a reminder to continue to seek growth in these areas of my life.

My first hope is that I would be obedient and that I  will not pass up any opportunity to share Christ.

That I will have spiritual discipline. ( reading His word, memorizing scripture, prayer)

That I will stop being selfish.( put others needs before my own)

Being okay with change. ( realizing that God's plan is perfect and that mine is not)

Learn spanish (  to share the gospel, or to have everyday conversations with the friends I make along the way. )

These are just a few areas of my life I want to grow in over the next 9 months. Feel free to shoot me a text or email to check up on how i'm doing with any of these topics.
