Meet my team

I just spent 11 days in Georgia getting to know my squad. The people, who I will be spending the next 9 months with. They are awesome and they already have a huge place in my heart. I cannot wait to experience what the Lord will teach me through living with this community. I would like to introduce each of my squadmates and leaders so that you can get to know them as well.  

 

 Kate – wow I love this women. She is our squad mentor, She is so joyful , wise and loving. I think we hit the squad mentor jackpot with this awesome lady. she has such a servant heart.

  Taylor – one of our sqaud leaders. when I think of taylor I think of him as being the “cool uncle” despite his age (lol jk) he is really cool and he is always making us laugh. This man is always giving things up to serve and pursue the Lord.

 Kori Moon- this is my team leader. She is very goofy… finally found someone that will laugh with me about poop jokes… sorry if that was TMI buttt so thankful I get to learn from her and live with her for the first 3 months of the race. She is authentic, never afraid of being her true self.  And she is prettyyy cool.

 Kate- This sweet girl is on my team. She has the silliest accent ever and I love it. She is a lover and a giver. I love this girl.

Olivia- one of our squad leaders, she is a fun time. So much joy comes when being around her. She also has  awesome dance moves 😉  she is bold, she shows confidence in who the Lord has made her to be. A very strong daughter of Christ.I just love her. 

 Abi- she would define herself as eccentric. Meaning slightly strange. I love that because that is exactly who she is in the best way possible. There are so many different layers to her. You have to really get to know her to understand who she is. She is creative, she thinks deeply about the lord and his character . she doesn’t just go with what the world says but she seeks to understand something before she makes up her mind . I have a lot to learn from this gal.

Phillip- He is a squad leader, he is sometimes quite but very loving and respectful. Some might say he is the boy who ponders. Always thinking carefully before he makes a decision. Aidyn- this girl is just so cute. Her style is A1. She is sooo loving. I have a feeling im gonna learn a lot from her this year. Kathy & brian – I love these people. Kathy and Brian  are our coaches… I think we have the best coaches out there 😉 they have so much wisdom and love to give. They have already taught me so much and I can’t wait to see what the Lord does through them this year.

Valerie- sillyyyy. She has a very  joyful/ free- spirited soul. She’s the kind of girl you surround yourself with when your down and she will pick you up.

Megan-  This girl has such a sweet soul. She is not afraid to have deep conversations. Very excited for this friendship.

Nathan- one of the bros… this dude is awesome. He loves the Lord so much and he is so obedient to Him. Always listening to what the Lord has to say and living it out. Such an encouragement. Very trustworthy.

Gel – oof this girl is a fiesty 4’11 new jersian. She might be small but she is mighty. She has so many talents. One being to make everyone around her laugh out loud and feel loved.Mackenzie- very compassionate, caring, generous and  loving. She has goats!! Super excited to have her in my life.Caden- This dudeeee. He is a fighter. His testimony has encouraged me so much. So excited to see what the Lord will do through Him this year. 

EMI- gosh this girlllll. Me and emi have a sister type of relationship. I love her to death  but if we are together for too long the claws come out. Hehe. This girl is my prayer partner. Anytime I need prayer I come to her and she prays for me. Anytime she needs prayer she comes to me and we pray. I love this relationship that the Lord has blessed me with. Sisters for lifeeee

.Jenay- I love this girl. She is passionate about the Lord. She can bust out some sick dance moves and she is  a fighter.

. Emalani – this girl is on my team and I am so thankful. She is wise beyond her years. Gentle, patient and Always quotes scripture. She is such an encouragement. Paige- sooo kind, gentle, patient, just so stinkin sweet and she loves the Lord so evidently. Kyle- wow this man is wild. He is  the brother that will cheer you on. Always there to encourage you. Mo-  Always willing to put her comfort ( like  being touched lol) on the line to serve her team and God. Awesome photographer and always someone you can talk to. 

Sumer- She has a dope name. She is an awesome photographer/ painter. She finds beauty in the simple things. 

NIKKI- we always joke about how she is the mom of the group but I mean it is so true… She makes me feel at home she is so loving she loves to keep people smiling and she is the peacemaker. An awesome person to have in your life. Love ya nik. 

kylah- This girls heart is so big. Not afraid to be who the Lord has called her to be. She is special. 

emily- when she laughs her whole face lights up and her smile is contagious. 

Jacob- He is also a team leader. Bro this dude has the funniest laugh ever, his laugh is also very contagious. Never seen anyone worship our father with so much passion and love that he does.He is always so joyful!! 

Maddie – this is girl is so sweet and kind. This girl is an encourager. She gives support and she inspires the people around her.

  CAMII- the only girl I will ever trust to give me bangs with craft scissors. This girl is always so joyful. Always thinking of ways she can serve others. She gives the BEST hugs ever. She is a comforter.  

Analise – the girl with the coolest name. The coolest hair and the one of the biggest hearts. I have soooo much respect for this girl.

  Abbie- Another awesome human that I have the pleasure of being on a team with. She is sooo creative. An amazing artist. I love to laugh and joke around with her. The Lord definitely knew what He was doing when He put two people on the same squad on the same team who live 30 minutes away from each other. I love this chick.

 Danniy- this guy is a beast. So outgoing and not afraid to praise the Lord. Another one of the bros, he encourages me to be who the Lord has called me to be. 

 Before training my squad and I got to know each other through the screen of our phones. Through house party , snap , and facetime, and text. Without ever meeting in person they already felt like my family. So meeting them in person just reassured my heart that THESE are my people, people the Lord has blessed me with. People to live with, grow with, laugh with, cry with, learn from, and serve with.  I CANNOT WAIT for September 7th… starting a new chapter in my life, one filled with a loving community. I know that living in community with this many people for almost a whole year will have its ups and downs but I wouldn’t want to go through this next 9 months of my life with any other team. These are my homies. :))))
